Telehealth Specialist- Transfer Center
**Overview**


We are looking for a Telehealth Specialist to add to our health system in the Transfer Center! The Telehealth Specialist is responsible for providing non-clinical support and service to telehealth programs, physicians, clinical staff, patients and units. This role performs professional level support activities in the Transfer Center managing bed placement for 4 hospital sites, and organizes the flow of information to maximize timely feedback including the management of high volumes of telephone calls and electronic messages. The Telehealth Specialist will prepare, compile technical and operational records, maintain inventory and order supplies as necessary. This position is required to work a variable shift, meaning there is a rotation of day shifts and night shifts. (night shifts are every other weekend per month)


Required Criteria


+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ 6 months' relevant experience


Preferred Criteria


+ Prefer experience as nursing assistant or clerical staff in a medical environment.

+ Familiarity with medical terminology and laboratory data required. Successful completion of a medical terminology course preferred.
